What do I have to do to start my robocalls?

There are four things we need from you in order to get your robocalls started:
  • The phone numbers
  • The message
  • When you want the calls to go out
  • The credit card

I'm allergic to computers, what is the simplest way to make this happen?

Here is the simplest way to get a robocall into the field:

Step 1: Record the message

  • Prepare your script
  • Call (415) 643-8882 and dial extension 803.
  • Record the message
If you aren't happy with your recording, just repeat the steps. We will use the last recording.

Step 2: Send an email to sales@telelytics.com

That email should contain the following:

  • The time you recorded your message on extension 803
  • An attachment with the phone list/voter file. You probably got this in excel format. Other formats are text or comma separate values (CSV). Whatever format it is, send it along. We'll probably be able to figure it out.
  • The day you want the calls to go out. We can't promise exactly when during the day the calls will go out. We can guarantee that they will go out after 9am and before 5pm. This will assure the maximum number of messages get left on answering machines.
  • The credit card information. Please be sure to include:
    • the number
    • expiration date
    • name on the card
    • the card's billing address with zip code.

How do I see the results of my job?

Once we have setup your account, you will receive a username and a password to log in to our website. You can always log in to your account by visiting our website, www.telelytics.com and pressing the login button.

After your job has run, you will see it in a table at the top of the page. If you have run multiple jobs, you will see multiple rows. Find the job(s) you want to view and put a check in the left hand check box. Below the table, press the View Selected Jobs button

I know how to turn on my computer, can I save on some of these setup charges

If you are relatively comfortable with a computer, you can avoid the setup charges.

Record the audio as a WAV file

You will need to buy a microphone and plug it into your computer. Then create the WAV file using 'Sound Recorder' on a Windows PC. You can run Sound Recorder from Start->Programs->Accessories->Entertainment->Sound Recorder. Save the file on your computer.

Upload the WAV file

The first step is to log in to your account. In the section marked "Audio Messages", press the Browse button and find the WAV file you recorded and saved.

Upload the phone list

Save the phone list as a text file, one phone number per line. If you have an excel spreadsheet, find the column with the phone numbers. Copy that column to a blank spreadsheet. Select File->Save As and save the spreadsheet as a text document.

Log in to your account. In the section marked "Phone Lists", press the Browse button and find the text file you saved.
